ECF Casualties

Lots of teams have already been eliminated from the ECF Championship. If you have no idea what I'm talking about (and only a handful do, and that's being generous), read this:

ECF Championship Rules

Here are the teams eliminated.

Colorado, Duke, UNC, Syracuse, Temple, SMU, rice, Miami (OH), Kent St, Central Mich, East Mich, Toledo, N Illinois, Stanford, Miss St, Vandy, Florida Atlantic, Louisiana - Lafayette, Idaho, Utah St, Nevada.

I Called It! UNH Wins Battle of Wildcats!

Man, revive my blog for one day, and nail an amazing prediction. Stars of the game were Ricky Santos, who completed 18 of 24 passes, and the soon-to-be immortal David Ball, who caught two touchdown passes. Ball now needs only three touchdown catches to tie the 1-AA record set by Jerry Rice. JERRY RICE!

David, we'll get your picture in when you break that record. I'll wrap up more of the 1-AA weekend tomorrow.

Division 1-AA Saturday Preview

The best games this weekend that no one will talk about:

Best Matchup - James Madison at Appalachian State. A matchup of the last two Champions. JMU is ranked 12, ASU 1.

Monumental Task - # 19 UC-Davis goes to TCU.
Shocking Upset - # 2 New Hampshire beats Northwestern.

PSU (# 21, with 1 first place vote!) will tear apart new conference opponent Northern Colorado. Can't wait. Screw Ohio State and Texas.
